Please note that the 2010 in my title refers to what you can buy in year 2000, not the year the sets are released.
Also
note that as these are LEGO sets, the further they are removed from
their year of release, the higher the chances that it is priced higher
than their price when first released. So if you see something priced too
high, it is most likely because they are from more than a couple years ago and has gained in price due to it being out of production.
Most
of these Holiday sets are also limited edition sets, which mean that
there are not too many of them being produced - it's also a kind of a license for
sellers to charge higher especially during the holiday season. :( So, if
you see one selling for an acceptable price now, get it before you are
made to pay higher for these due to Christmas price hikes. I have no control over prices, I am
afraid, I can only warn you. :(

set was a Daily Mirror (UK) giveaway as it is cheap. It features a
snowman with an orangy carrot for a nose, wears a red bow tie and holds a
broom in his hand. This looked great on Christmas display and is more of a
Christmas ornament than a play set. You can also hang it on a Christmas
tree if you wish to.
