Toy Story is a year 1995
released computer animated movie, the 1st Disney-Pixar film
to be made, and features the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, as Woody
and Buzz Lightyear respectively. It is also the first feature film to be made entirely with CGI, and was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
The film was so successful that it prompted 2 sequels, Toy Story 2, released in 1999, and Toy Story 3,
released in 2010. Both sequels were critically acclaimed, as was the
first. Most of the actors and actresses who lent their voices to the characters, like Tom Hanks, Estelle
Harris, John Ratzenberger, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Tim Allen, Jodi Benson, R.
Lee Ermey, John Morris, Wallace Shawn, Jeff Pidgeon, and Laurie Metcalf, all reprised their previous roles from the previous films.
The reason for its success is bleeding obvious, as
no kid can stop themselves from wanting to play with all those fun walking, talking, all-action toys
after watching it in the movies with mom and dad.
